NSK Achieves Carbon Neutrality at Headquarters and R&D in China
Achieved Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon neutrality at NSK’s headquarters and R&D facilities in China in fiscal 2022, a first for NSK globally.
By 2035, NSK further aims to achieve carbon neutrality (Scope 1/2) at all sites in China and globally, including manufacturing.and NSK held a groundbreaking ceremony on May 22, 2023 in Kunshan City, China, for the expansion of NSK’s China Headquarters and R&D center.The new expansion building is located in the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, Kunshan City, with total building floorspace of approximately 21,000 square meters, and is scheduled to be completed in August 2024.With this expansion, NSK will expand its presence in China, increasing the number of employees and strengthening research capabilities supporting localized technology development.
